Binding services are a crucial part of finishing a quilt, ensuring that the edges are secure, durable, and beautifully completed. As one of the final steps in the quilting process, expert binding enhances both the functionality and aesthetics of a quilt.

Binding Creation:

Fabric is cut, sewn, and pressed into binding strips, which are tailored to match or complement the quilt’s design. Options may include straight-grain or bias-cut binding, depending on the quilt’s needs.

$10 Flat Fee per binding

Machine-Attached Binding:

The binding is professionally sewn onto the quilt by machine, ensuring clean, straight stitches and a strong hold. This method is quick and ideal for quilts intended for frequent use.

$0.25 per linear inch

Hand-Finished Binding:

For a polished, heirloom-quality look, the binding is machine-sewn on one side and then hand-stitched to the back of the quilt for an invisible, delicate finish.

$0.40 per linear inch

Wide or Narrow Binding Options:

Offering a choice of binding widths to suit the quilt’s style, whether you prefer a bold statement or a subtle finish.

Binding Repair for Older Quilts:

For well-loved quilts that have frayed or worn edges, the old binding can be carefully removed and replaced with new fabric to restore the quilt’s durability and beauty.

Continuous Binding for Specialty Shapes:

Special care for quilts with curved or irregular edges, such as scalloped borders, ensuring the binding lays flat and smooth.

$0.45 per linear inch

Custom Decorative Binding:

Decorative techniques such as flange binding or two-tone binding add an extra layer of interest and style to your quilt’s edge.
